Tuesday, August 18 - For all grade 4, 5, 6 and 7 students that have never participated in a First Aid course or if you need a first aid refresher this is the course for you. The Canadian Red Cross Peoplesaver Course level 3 is a fun filled workshop that will cover topics such as: what’s in a first aid kit, calling EMS, emergency action steps, identifying emergencies, poisons & dangers, cuts, scrapes, wounds, impaled objects, nose bleeds, heat burns, allergies-epipens, choking and more. The At Home All By Myself course teaches participants how the rules change when home alone, the home alone checklist, things that the children should & should not do when home alone, & much more! Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course (Grades 6 and up)

Wednesday, August 5 - Interested in becoming a responsible and skilled babysitter? If you are in grade 6, 7 or 8 this course is for you. This fun filled workshop includes everything from diapering, first aid, safety tips, rights and responsibilities of everyone involved, physical capabilities of all ages of children, tips for SAFELY finding babysitting jobs & much more! Canadian Red Cross CPR/AED Certification Course (Grade 6 to adult)
8:30 am to 12:30 pm – $75.00

This course is for all students grade 6 and up, as well as parents and nannies. We will teach you how to deal with an unconscious or conscious choking baby, child or adult and you will be certified in baby, child and adult CPR, Automatic External Defibrillation (AED), review basic first aid; cuts/scrapes, nose bleeds, seizures, allergies, epipens and burns.
Note: Catherine’s courses will be held here at the Town Hall in 2020/20 school year for all PA days – Dates TBA.
